My local branch of the Austin Public Library - shout out to Twin Oaks!! - totally knocked it out of the park for me yesterday.
- The Trent Reznor/Atticus Ross "Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" soundtrack, pulled out and highlighted on the top shelf.
- DVD of Sid & Nancy also on display! Yes thanks.
- In the electronic music CD drawer, FAC. DANCE 02, a compilation of Factory Records '12" mixes and rarities' with 2 CDs full 80s music I've never heard.
- NIGHT HUNTERS - a cyberpunk comic in future Venezuela.
What a haul!! And all FOR FREE. I love you, library.

I got one of these watches a while back and I love it. I wear it more than my Apple Watch these days even though it has NO FUNCTIONS other than time and date. It is big and chunky and bright orange.

I read the William Gibson ALIEN III comic adaptation today, after listening to the audio play version. Both are great - it’s a shame this story never made it to the screen.

I am not one of the people who hates the Alien 3 movie that did get made by Fincher, but it would have been nice to see a better legacy for Newt, Hicks and Bishop which this version gives them.
